दुर्ग। थाना नंदिनी नगर पुलिस ने ग्राम गोढ़ी में हुई बुजुर्ग महिला की हत्या का खुलासा 24 घंटे के भीतर कर दिया है। इस सनसनीखेज वारदात में मृतका की बहू ही आरोपी पाई गई। पुलिस ने आरोपी महिला को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक रिमांड पर जेल भेज दिया है।
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, 16 अक्टूबर 2025 को ग्राम गोढ़ी निवासी सुरेन्द्र वर्मा ने थाना नंदिनी नगर में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई कि उसकी मां उर्मिला वर्मा घर में मृत अवस्था में पाई गई हैं। घटना के समय घर पर केवल उसकी मां और बहू रोशनी वर्मा मौजूद थीं, जबकि परिवार के बाकी सदस्य काम पर गए हुए थे। पड़ोसी द्वारा सूचना मिलने पर जब सुरेन्द्र वर्मा घर पहुंचे, तो उन्होंने देखा कि उनकी मां बेडरूम में लहूलुहान अवस्था में पड़ी हैं, सिर पर गंभीर चोट है और उनकी मृत्यु हो चुकी है।
रिपोर्ट पर पुलिस ने अपराध क्रमांक 261/2025 धारा 103(1) बीएनएस के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की। विवेचना के दौरान पुलिस को बहू रोशनी वर्मा (उम्र 21 वर्ष) पर संदेह हुआ। पूछताछ में रोशनी ने अपना अपराध स्वीकार करते हुए बताया कि उसकी दादी सास उसे खाना बनाने को लेकर ताना मारती थीं और उसके हाथ का खाना नहीं खाती थीं। इसी बात को लेकर दोनों के बीच विवाद हुआ और आवेश में आकर उसने बेडरूम में रखे लोहे के हथौड़े से उर्मिला वर्मा के सिर पर वार कर दिया, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही मृत्यु हो गई।
पुलिस ने आरोपी की निशानदेही पर घटना में प्रयुक्त हथौड़ा जब्त कर लिया है और विधिवत गिरफ्तारी के बाद उसे न्यायिक रिमांड पर जेल भेज दिया गया है।
