भिलाई। भिलाई वरिष्ठ नागरिक महासंघ के तत्वावधान में चलाए जा रहे घर-घर बांटें रोशनी और फैलाएं खुशियां अभियान का आगाज शुक्रवार को रामशिला की कुटिया वृद्धाश्रम जुनवानी में बुजुर्गों के संग दीवाली मनाकर किया गया। खुशियों के पल बुजुर्गो के संग कार्यक्रम में 25 बुजुर्गो का सम्मान किया गया। बुजुर्गो ने जहां अपने मन की बातें शेयर की वहीं अपना सम्मान पाकर वे अभिभूत हो उठे।
महासंघ के अध्यक्ष घनश्याम कुमार देवांगन की अगुवाई में पदाधिकारियों एवं सदस्यों ने वृद्धाश्रम के सभी बुजुर्गो का टीका लगाकर एवं अंगवस्त्र भेंट कर उनका सम्मान किया तथा फल एवं मिठाई वितरित किए। उन्होंने कहा कि बुजुर्गो को सिर्फ अपनापन, प्यार एवं सम्मान की जरूरत होती है, जिसके वे हकदार हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि महासंघ के सदस्यों के द्वारा धनतेरस से भाई दूज तक अपने आसपास के जरूरतमंद लोगों अनाथालयों, वृद्धाश्रमों, झुग्गी बस्तियों एवं चौक चौराहों के भिखारियों को फल, मिठाई, कपड़े, दीये , बच्चों को हल्के पटाखे बांटने का कार्य जारी रहेगा, ताकि उनकी दीवाली भी रोशन और खुशीयों से भरा रहे। महासंघ के पदाधिकारियों ने बुजुर्गो के साथ आत्मीयता पूर्वक समय बिताया और खुशियां बांटी।
इस अवसर पर विशेष रूप से उपस्थित डॉ. महेशचंद्र शर्मा ने वरिष्ठ नागरिक महासंघ की रचनात्मक गतिविधियों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि बुजुर्गो के चेहरे पर मुस्कान लाना पुण्य का काम है। उन्होंने कहा कि बुजुर्ग समाज के आधार स्तम्भ हैं। उनका सम्मान भारतीय परंपरा का अभिन्न अंग है।
वृद्धाश्रम के संचालक अजय कल्याणी ने बताया कि वृद्धाश्रम के साथ ही नशा मुक्ति केंद्र का भी संचालन उनकी संस्था द्वारा किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बुजुर्गो की सुध लेकर दीवाली की खुशियां बांटने के लिए भिलाई वरिष्ठ नागरिक महासंघ का आभार व्यक्त किया।
