जम्मू: जम्मू-कश्मीर के डोडा जिले में बुधवार को एक बस के खाई में गिर जाने से 36 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 19 अन्य घायल हो गए। आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने बताया कि डोडा जिले के असेर में यात्री बस का चालक वाहन पर नियंत्रण खो बैठा और बस गहरी खाई में गिर गई। हादसे में अब तक 36 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हो चुकी है जबकि 19 अन्य घायल हैं। सूत्रों ने कहा, “सुरक्षा बल और नागरिक राहत एवं बचाव अभियान चला रहे हैं। अधिक जानकारी की प्रतीक्षा है।”
उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने हादसे पर दुख जताया है। उन्होंने कहा कि असर में हुए बस हादसे का बेहद दुख है। घायलों की जल्द रिकवरी की उम्मीद है। मृतकों के परिवारों के प्रति गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त करता हूं। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन को सभी सुविधाएं मुहैया कराने का आदेश दिया है। केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने भी ट्वीट कर हादसे की जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैंने डोडा के डिप्टी कमिश्नर हरविंदर सिंह से बात की है। घायलों को किश्तवाड़ के जिला अस्पताल में एडमिट कराया गया है। कुछ और लोगों को आगे के इलाज के लिए हेलिकॉप्टर की व्यवस्था की जा रही है। सभी जरूरी मदद मौके पर भेजी जा रही है। मैं लगातार संपर्क में हूं और बचाव कार्य की पूरी निगरानी की जा रही है। घटना के तुरंत बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने बचाव कार्य शुरू कर दिया था। बस में करीब 55 लोग सवार थे।
